Breast Reconstruction with LD flap and implants
Partial Side View
This patient was diagnosed with breast cancer and had immediate reconstruction at the time of mastectomy with a latissimus dorsi flap and tissue expanders. She came to the office every 2 weeks to fill her expanders to her desired size. She then had her tissue expanders removed and replaced with permananet shaped silicone implants. Later, nipple reconstruction and areola tattooing was performed to finish her reconstruction. She is very happy with her new size and shape.
